Marie Capita
Marie C. Capita is the Executive Director of Taste of Immokalee, a youth entrepreneurship program that provides teens with real-world business experience, so they are career-ready beyond high school.
Prior to dedicating her career to helping youth, she served as the Center Manager for the Immokalee Business Development Center where she was instrumental in attracting important resources into the area to help small business owners succeed.
An attorney by trade, Marie previously practiced law in Miami, Florida for over a decade. She is the mother of three boys and earned her J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
She represents and continues the effort of the group of high school founders who initiated the movement in 2014 (tasteofimmokalee.com/the-impact).
